Job summary

CVS Health in-store pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and deliver caring service to patients. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help provide immunization services where allowed.

Responsibilities include teaming with staff to maintain patient safety, accuracy, and a positive experience, while meeting state licensure and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure standards.
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations, following SOPs.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and patient interactions.
• Support immunizations where permissible and participate in inventory tasks.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service at pick-up, drive-thru, or phone.
• Maintain accuracy in labeling and documentation; comply with safety standards.
