Job summary

CVS Health in Manchester, NH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and caring patient service. The role involves assisting with workflow, immunizations and immunization support where allowed, and completing required training and licensure as per state regulations.

The position emphasizes adherence to SOPs, patient safety, and a collaborative, inclusive team environment, with the option to travel to stores in the market

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly, ensure prescription information accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with empathy and care
• Communication Skills: interface with patients and colleagues effectively
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate dispense quantities and supplies
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions appropriately
• Physical Demands: be mobile and lift items as needed
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
