Responsibilities

• Learn to independently input patient data and medication orders
• Count, label, and package prescription drugs and supplies
• Submit prescriptions for third-party billing and learn how to trouble-ship
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining inventory
• Perform general cleaning and store maintenance
• Work with the pharmacy team to learn patient care services
• Provide excellent customer service
• Gain knowledge of commonly prescribed drugs
• Gain knowledge about billing third parties and resolving issues
• Learn about over-the-counter and front-end departments
• Comply with all local, state, federal, and company policies
• Follow all Hometown Pharmacy Employee Standards of Conduct
• Complete all training and continuing education
• Follow all HIPAA standards and guidelines
