Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support filling prescriptions and providing compassionate care to patients in a retail pharmacy setting.

The role requires completion of CVS Pharmacy Technician Training and adherence to licensing and certification requirements, with opportunities to expand duties as you gain experience and knowledge in clinical, technical and insurance areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks over time and maintain accuracy.
• Capable of using math to calculate day’s supply of a prescription.

Responsibilities

• Assist in accurately and promptly filling prescriptions while delivering caring service.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with federal, state and local laws.
• Support training and development through CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and expansion of duties.
• Provide support to team to meet regulatory and safety standards in the pharmacy.
