Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases by operating a cash register and handling payments for different types of items.
• Maintains pharmacy display by stocking and organizing merchandise and supplies and ensuring safety.
• Assists pharmacist in prescription fulfillment, processing third-party claims, and rejections.
• Enters prescription data into pharmacy software, ensuring accuracy of drug names, dosages, and patient info.
• Provides member service at pickup, verifies information, and logs transactions in TaSCO.
