Walmart Inc. is looking for a Pharmacy Technician in Port Huron, MI. You will process prescriptions, assist with third-party insurance claims, and support the pharmacy team in daily operations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role involves customer interactions, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment. Requires eligibility as a Pharmacy Technician and certification within 9 months of starting.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Responsabilités

• Processes member purchases by operating a cash register and related hardware.
• Maintains pharmacy merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, signing and pricing items.
• Handles pharmacy paperwork, logs, and documentation per policies.
• Assists with prescription fulfillment and third-party insurance claims as needed.
• Provides patient service at the pharmacy drop-off and pickup windows, maintaining HIPAA compliance.
