Job summary

Walmart at 1237 32ND ST, PORT HURON, MI 48060-7323, United States of America, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment and patient services in the Sam's Club facility.

You will enter prescriptions, assist with third-party claims, stock and organize the pharmacy, and help patients with purchases while upholding laws and company policies. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain PTCE or ExCPT certification within 9 months of entry.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment and third-party insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions by entering data into pharmacy software and preparing labeled containers.
• Assist pharmacists in the prescription fulfillment process and insurance claim handling.
• Provide member service at the pickup window and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain a clean, compliant and organized pharmacy area and assist with stock and merchandising.
