Job summary

Sam’s Club, Port Huron, MI, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, operate cash registers, and assist customers with pharmacy services.

You will stock and rotate pharmacy merchandise, help with third‑party insurance claims, and assist pharmacists while maintaining HIPAA compliant records and a clean, safe workspace. You must meet state requirements and obtain PTCE or ExCPT certification within 9 months.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCE) or NHA ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases by operating a cash register and handling payments.
• Maintains pharmacy merchandise presentation, stocks and rotates merchandise and supplies, sets up displays and pricing.
• Assists pharmacists in prescription fulfillment and handling third‑party insurance claims.
• Provides member service in the Pharmacy and maintains HIPAA compliance to protect patient information.
