Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate service in store operations. You will assist pharmacists, manage prescriptions, and help provide immunizations and other patient services.

This role requires compliance with state pharmacy regulations, strong attention to detail and customer service, and willingness to travel within the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly to meet needs, confirm prescription information and label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, dosage, and bottles
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and perform precise tasks
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
