Job summary

El Rio Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Stone location. The selected candidate will prepare medications for patient consumption under pharmacist supervision and perform administrative support duties in the Pharmacy Department.

Requirements include a current AZ Pharmacy Technician license, BLS certification, fingerprint clearance, reliable transport, and a high school diploma or GED. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Current BLS for health care providers certification is required.
• Level I fingerprint clearance card is required or applied for within seven working days.
• Reliable transportation required for operational reassignment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmaceutical and clerical duties supporting Pharmacy operations within established time frames.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and corporate standards.
• Manages prescription intake, verification, and cashiering duties as directed by the Pharmacist.
• Ensures accurate entry of patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Supports 340B program compliance and insurance billing processes.
