Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, fill, and refill prescriptions per provider orders and organize medications for pharmacist check.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by stocking meds and supplies and processing invoices.
• Balance daily pharmacy transactions and controlled substances.
• Manage the point-of-sale system to charge medications and complete prescription cycles.
• Assist with prior authorizations and patient access.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, USP guidelines and all regulations.
• Work with clinical staff to order and maintain lab stock.
• Maintain accurate records and daily/monthly checklists.
