Job summary

The role involves following SOPs, inventory tasks, and opportunities to expand clinical knowledge under supervision. Typical duties include assisting pharmacists, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and supporting immunization services where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school/equivalency.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pickup, drive-thru, and phone.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed.
• Support immunizations and vaccines where permitted by law.
