Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our store pharmacy team in Tyler, Texas. You will assist pharmacists, fill prescriptions accurately, and deliver compassionate service to patients and customers.

You’ll follow SOPs, maintain patient safety, and participate in vaccine readiness and other services as allowed by state law. This role emphasizes attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to quality care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and support to patients and customers.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety; participate in immunization and vaccination services where allowed by law.
• Support pharmacy operations and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
