Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our in-store pharmacy team in Ohio. You will interact with patients, promote clinical services, dispense medications, and ensure accurate cashing and documentation.

Responsibilities include providing immunizations, performing CLIA-waived tests when required, and maintaining a compliant, patient-focused pharmacy environment. We value attention to detail and strong teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points in the pharmacy.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information in the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve prescribed medications from inventory.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Maintain organized work area for a professional appearance.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
