Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in delivering high‑quality patient care. You will assist in prescription fulfillment, patient interactions, and basic inventory tasks while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

The role requires meeting state licensure rules and a high school diploma, with preferred 1–3 years of technician experience and certification. Training and immunization support may be included where allowed.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or active enrollment).
• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and support the pharmacy team to deliver patient care.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely; ensure proper labeling and dispensing.
• Perform basic inventory tasks (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, staging).
• Provide empathetic, patient‑centered service at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
• Support immunizations and on‑site clinics where allowed by law and training.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and patient privacy.
