Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering accurate prescriptions and high‑quality patient care at our Norfolk stores. You will follow SOPs, help with immunizations when permitted, and ensure safe medication handling while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

The role requires compliance with state boards, licensure, and 1–3 years of experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and willingness to travel within the market if needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide excellent customer service and empathy to patients.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where applicable.
