Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations across stores, ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions and excellent patient service. The role includes assisting pharmacists, handling inventory tasks, and supporting immunization services where allowed by law.

The position requires adherence to state board requirements, reliable attendance, and willingness to travel within the market to support store teams.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice, including age, education, licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, the candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum education requirement, a high school diploma or equivalent is required or the candidate must be actively enrolled in a program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and SOP adherence.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients at pickup, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and returns‑to‑stocks as directed by leadership.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
