Job summary

CVS Health in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment. You will operate within SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help provide caring service to patients at pickup, drive-thru, or over the phone.

You'll complete state licensing requirements and participate in a training program to ensure compliance and quality care across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Completing basic inventory activities and cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories.
• Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset and feedback.
• Remaining flexible for scheduling and traveling to stores as needed by the business.
• Understanding and complying with laws, regulations and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Delivering additional patient health care services where allowed by law and training.
• Completing licensure and training to obtain Technician Immunizer status when applicable.
