Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including evenings and weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Assist patients with medication pickup, drive-thru and phone orders with empathy and accuracy
• Contribute to safety and accuracy in dispensing by verifying prescription information and labeling
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform basic stock procedures
