Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams, ensure safe and accurate prescription processing, and deliver compassionate patient service across store locations.

The role requires compliance with state licensure, customer service excellence, and the ability to perform inventory tasks while adhering to SOPs and regulatory guidelines. Training and certification are required to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements and licensure/certification
• If the state board does not mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Assist with immunizations and vaccination-related duties where allowed by law
• Provide friendly customer service and assist patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Complete basic inventory tasks and help maintain SOP adherence
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to cover shifts and support busines goals
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and CVS policies for patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional patient health care services when trained and certified
