Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in patient-centered care, immunizations, and various patient services across stores. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate service while complying with all laws and CVS policies.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, handling immunization support where allowed, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to determine dosage and days’ supply
• Problem Resolution: identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose the best course of action
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and related actions
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
