Job summary

CVS Health in San Diego, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate, patient-centered service. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help ensure timely prescription fulfillment while upholding privacy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including licensure/certification.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and support pharmacists in accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training.
• Maintain patient privacy and secure handling of prescriptions and sensitive information.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team to ensure safe and efficient service.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist with store operations as directed.
