Job summary

CVS Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations across stores, ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service. You’ll complete required training, maintain licensure, and assist with immunizations and other patient care services as needed.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, teamwork, and flexible scheduling to meet patient and business needs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Attention and focus to concentrate on a task over a period of time

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Completing basic inventory activities and assisting with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks
• Contributing to a high-performing team and being receptive to feedback; travel to stores as needed by the business
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety
• Delivering additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where required by training and certification
• Supporting immunization efforts by obtaining Technician Immunizer status and educating patients
