Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in retail locations. You will help ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations where allowed, and provide compassionate service to patients and customers.
The role requires adherence to state board regulations, completion of required training, and flexible attendance including weekends. Travel to market stores may be needed to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure requirements
- Preferred 1–3 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Attend to customers and patients with empathy and care; provide exceptional patient service
- Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Assist the pharmacy team with inventory tasks and proper stocking
- Support immunizations and other clinical services where allowed by law and training
- Maintain accurate labeling, dosing calculations, and patient records
- Demonstrate flexibility to travel to stores in the market as needed
