Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service in a retail setting.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by state regulations, and participate in a rigorous training program to meet licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and switch tasks as needed to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; assist with immunizations and services where allowed.
