Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, efficient medication fulfillment and exceptional patient care in our retail stores.

You will complete required training, abide by state Board of Pharmacy rules, and assist with immunizations and other services where allowed. Expect a 40‑hour weekly schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment if required by state.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Verify prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide excellent patient service and empathetic care at pickup, drive‑thru, or phone channels.
• Assist with inventory activities and proper medication handling.
• Support the pharmacy team and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
