CVS Health in Bogalusa, LA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment. You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, help patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone, and contribute to a caring and efficient pharmacy experience.

The role requires compliance with state regulations, completion of training, and willingness to travel within the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure/certification.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Completing basic inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed by the pharmacy leadership.
• Contributing to a high-performing team and being receptive to feedback and growth.
• Flexible scheduling and willingness to travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Adhering to all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
• Delivering immunizations and other services where legally permitted and trained.
