Job summary

CVS Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and provide compassionate customer care that helps patients and families.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where permitted, handle basic inventory, and contribute to a safe, inclusive store culture. Shifts may require traveling to other market stores as needed; full-time schedule is 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, verify prescription information and labeling for accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner, understand patient reactions
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues, listen actively
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute totals, days supply, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: lift, reach, stand, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Delivering additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing, staffing offsite clinics) where allowed by law
