Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team across stores in Minnesota. You will assist with receipt, dispensing, and customer service while ensuring patient safety and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, the candidate must be at least 16 years old
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic, caring service to patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Manage basic inventory activities and returns-to-stocks under supervision
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be open to feedback, expanding knowledge
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure safety and privacy
• Support immunizations and other health services where allowed by law and training
