Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in the store. You will support pharmacy operations, assist the pharmacy team, and help deliver safe, accurate prescriptions while providing caring service to patients.

The role requires completion of state licensure/certification requirements as applicable and the ability to travel within the market stores as needed. This is a customer-facing position with immunization support options where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly when needed, ensure prescription label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute days of supply and dispense quantities
• Problem Resolution: identify challenging interactions and choose best course of action
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and maintain stamina
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
