Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate service to patients.

You will complete required training, meet state licensure and certification requirements, and work full time with weekend availability; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 1–3 years of technician experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification.
• If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Customer service and teamwork: actively help people in a friendly manner.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assisting with inventory activities, including cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and stock management.
• Support immunizations and other health services where permitted by law and trained for vaccination tasks.
• Comply with all applicable laws, CVS policies and patient privacy requirements.
