Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in providing safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service in a retail setting. You will work under the direction of the Pharmacist, following SOPs and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting with medication dispensing, customer interactions, inventory tasks, and opportunities to administer vaccines where permitted by state law. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice, including age and licensure/certification as applicable.
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

Attend to customers with empathy and professionalism; ensure accurate prescription processing.
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru and drop-off.
Assist pharmacists and team to deliver immunization and point-of-care services where allowed by law.
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with daily stock and returns-to-stocks as directed.
Adhere to SOPs and safety policies; participate in ongoing training and certification requirements.
