Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering accurate and compassionate patient care in-store. The role involves processing prescriptions, ensuring safety and quality, handling customer interactions, and contributing to a positive, compliant workflow across all pharmacy stations.

Successful candidates will complete required training, meet state licensure/certification requirements, and maintain high standards of accuracy, empathy, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide empathetic, friendly patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Help manage inventory and support pharmacy leadership with stock processes.
