Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service across store locations. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help maintain inventory while contributing to a caring, inclusive shop environment.

Anticipated hours are part of a team-driven schedule, with emphasis on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in a program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and create positive patient experiences at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law and per training.
• Support inventory management and assist with vaccine supplies and returns-to-stocks.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
