Job summary

CVS Health in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service. You will work within store operations, assisting in immunizations and related services as permitted by law, while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

The role requires reliable attendance, completion of required training, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum education requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalent program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Verify prescription information and labeling for accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide friendly, empathetic customer service and support to patients and colleagues.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
