Job summary

CVS Health in Slidell, LA, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with open/drive-thru workflows, and help ensure a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with regulations.

This full-time role requires meeting state licensure/certification requirements, ability to travel between stores as needed, and a commitment to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements, licensure/certification and age rules.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and ensure patient safety.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service at pickup, drive-thru and on the phone.
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership.
• Support immunizations and vaccine-related tasks as trained and permitted by law.
• Travel to other stores in the market as needed to cover shifts.
