Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician in California to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service. You will follow SOPs, assist patients at pickup or drive-thru, and help maintain inventory while upholding patient privacy and safety.

The role requires state licensure or certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 years of prior pharmacy/retail experience.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for licensure/certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some states require minimum age per board rules.
• Preferred 1–3 years of pharmacy/retail experience; familiarity with immunization support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.
• Assist patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone with empathy and clear communication.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and support vaccine supplies when permitted by law.
