Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a retail setting. You will help ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, assist customers, and participate in immunization services where permitted by law.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, state licensing requirements, and strong attention to detail. Comprehensive benefits and FT schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalent program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide excellent customer service and work with the pharmacy team to support patients.
