Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care across CVS locations in California. You will help with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and customer service while following SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Prospective technicians should meet state board requirements, have or pursue licensure, and be prepared for a role that includes flexible scheduling and weekend shifts to support patient
Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements including licensure/certification
- High school diploma or equivalent if no minimum education requirement
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Responsibilities
- Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
- Complete required training within designated timeframe
- Concentrate on a task over a period of time
- Pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
- Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety
- Provide empathetic customer service and teamwork
- Assist with pharmacy workflow procedures and immunization services where allowed
- Manage inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership
- Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed
