Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in a retail store. You will help manage prescription fulfillment, patient interaction, and adherence to SOPs to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, handling basic inventory, and delivering compassionate service. Training, licensing requirements, and opportunities to participate in immunizations where permitted are included.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education and licensure/certification
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot as needed to meet patient and business needs
• Assist pharmacists by following SOPs and ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
• Deliver compassionate patient interactions and positive service experiences
• Assist with inventory tasks and support store operations as directed by leadership
• Support immunizations and vaccine-related responsibilities where permitted by law and training
