Job summary

Meijer in Ohio seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in a retail pharmacy. You will ensure accurate dispensing, promote clinical services, and uphold confidentiality while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, inputting data, printing labels, adjudicating insurance, stocking medication, and coordinating with the Pharmacy Team to maintain a compliant, organized operation.

Qualifications

• The position requires licensure in the practicing state and active pharmacy license if required.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at various service points and promote pharmacy services.
• Input customer and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory and stock shelves.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department and maintain confidentiality.
