Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Registered and/or licensed as required in state of practice.
• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong typing skills.
• Neat penmanship and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a team.
• Good attendance and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services.
• Input customer and prescription information in the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medication from inventory.
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order and stock prescription medications.
• Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ensure licensure as required by state.
