Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our community-focused pharmacy team. You will interact with patients at service points, promote clinical services, and ensure accurate dispensing and claims processing.

The role requires strong customer service, organizing skills, and attention to detail, with responsibilities including labeling, inventory, and maintaining patient confidentiality in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered and/or licensed as required in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Proficient typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at various service points.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy and protect patient confidentiality.
