Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including licensure and registration as required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCE) or ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in prescription fulfillment and processing of third-party insurance claims.
• Provide patient/member service at the pharmacy drop-off/pickup window and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain pharmacy area per company policies, including stocking, labeling, and securing medications.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and ensure accuracy of patient records.
• Help pharmacist with medication dispensing, verification, and documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.
