Job summary

Sam's Club in Lima, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in prescription fulfillment, insurance claims, and patient services at the pharmacy counter. You will input data, process prescriptions, and ensure accuracy while maintaining a compliant and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory, pricing, and labeling, and handling patient information per HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician and must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCE) or ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold corporate policies in daily tasks.
• Familiarity with TaSCO and pharmacy software used for prescription processing.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and patient data using pharmacy software.
• Assist pharmacist with prescription fulfillment and third-party insurance claims.
• Provide member service at pharmacy dropoff and pickup windows.
• Maintain inventory, pricing, and correct signage in the pharmacy area.
• Ensure secure handling of patient information and adherence to policies.
