Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in a PRN capacity. You will transcribe and prepare medication orders, assist in dispensing, and support sterile/non-sterile compounding under supervision.

You will utilize pharmacy automation, manage inventory, document activities for compliance, and train other staff while upholding HIPAA standards and participating in audits as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent licensing.
• 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes and prepares medication orders under supervision.
• Assist in non-sterile and sterile compounding as applicable.
• Utilize automation and maintain accurate documentation.
• Distribute medications and manage inventory and accuracy.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Support audits and identify workflow gaps for improvements.
• Teach competencies to technicians and students where needed.
