Job summary

Kroger in Arlington, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and provide exceptional customer service in a safe, inclusive environment. You will assist pharmacists, perform reception, data entry and dispensing steps with accuracy, and help ensure high quality patient care.

Adhere to HIPAA regulations, comply with local/state/federal laws, and contribute to a team that values respect, integrity and safety while delivering reliable pharmaceutical services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those needing a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company policies.
• Support clerks and technicians through coaching and training.
• Compound medications according to state regulations and perform post-fill audits.
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms and applications.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
