Amerita is seeking a Pharmacy Technician / Patient Service Representative to join our team. You will prepare, label and dispense pharmaceuticals and collaborate with nurses, customer service and distribution to support patient care.

The role requires successful completion of an accredited technician program, state licensure, and national certification, with 1–3 years in pharmacy. Flexible schedule and on-call availability are required in a fast-paced, compliant home infusion setting.

Competenze

• Successful completion of an approved/accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license in state of practice.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification as required by state regulations.
• 1–3 years of related pharmacy experience in home care or retail.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekend on-call as scheduled.

Mansioni

• Coordinates and facilitates new referrals and admissions with nurses, customer service and distribution.
• Conducts and documents initial and ongoing assessment of patient, drug and disease information.
• Escalates to a clinician as needed.
• Answers inquiries from patients, families, physicians and healthcare professionals; escalates as needed.
• Maintains documentation in patient records of all clinical activities and communications.
• Coordinates and schedules preparation of IV therapies and home medical equipment orders with the Pharmacist.
• Prepares labels, prescriptions and worksheets; maintains lot numbers, expiration dates and batch records.
• Generates delivery/pick slips under supervision of the Pharmacist; picks supplies and equipment.
• Obtains supply inventories and communicates with Pharmacist; documents progress notes.
• Participates in branch meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Adheres to accreditation, OSHA, FDA, state and federal regulations.
