Under the direction and final check of a licensed Pharmacist, prepares, packages, and labels IV and unit dose medications according to prescriber orders and policies. Utilizes calculations to ensure accuracy, maintains a sterile environment, and delivers medications to patient care areas. May process controlled substances and perform related charge functions. Responds to inquiries and performs other duties as assigned.

• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Michigan by 10/1/15.
• Prior pharmacy experience and/or formal training preferred.
• Certification preferred.
