Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in a retail store environment. You’ll help ensure efficient prescription fulfillment, accurate labeling, and patient care, following SOPs and maintaining safety; opportunities to assist with immunizations where permitted.

The role requires adherence to state board requirements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and active licensure/certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including but not limited to age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete the required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on a task over time and pivot between tasks
• Customer service and team orientation to assist patients and colleagues
• Communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical reasoning for dispensing and inventory tasks
• Problem resolution in patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands including movement and lifting as required by pharmacy operations
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Support immunizations and other patient care services where allowed by law and training

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active enrollment in high school or high school equivalency program
